Peta's Forecast - Weekend Rain and Snow Mix

Outside of the primarily morning snow showers, expect plenty of clouds, brisk winds, and unseasonably chilly temperatures for the rest of today with highs struggling to make it to 40 degrees.

Snow will wind down Tuesday night into Wednesday.

The sunny afternoons can't last forever, and the return of rain and snow is dead ahead. Winds are out of the East to 10mph this morning, and will be out of the Southeast to 10mph this afternoon. Winds will briefly ease to 5-10 miles per hour out of the northwest overnight, but will increase quickly on Tuesday.

The Cascades will see snow showers, which is some good news for skiers and snowboarders! "Around an inch possible overnight with up to 2" in northern Trumbull and Mercer counties.

Ford wins PC leadership
The announcement comes after a delay that lasted more than seven hours as party officials reviewed the results of the vote. Diane Ford told CP24 that her son Doug will "be a good leader because he's been a leader in anything he did".

Some small shower chances arrive for the weekend, especially Saturday. Tuesday is forecasted to be similar, with cloudy skies and some snow showers possible and highs in the mid-30s.

If you're not a fan of cold weather, stick around, we'll be back in the 60s for the end of the week.

Tonight turns chilly quickly, with temperatures falling through the 50s and 40s after sunset. The second round of showers could contain some heavy rainfall at times which is much needed.
